Minerva’s Curse: the Sleeplessness of Reason Produces Monsters

lecture-concert by andcompany&Co.

The owl of Minerva only starts her flight when dawn falls. Once a symbol of philosophy, this nocturnal, observant and silently-attacking bird of prey could now represent the eerie power of surveillance. At the same time, Hegel’s approach to understanding everything and all in itself could be the philosophical superstructure of today’s security society.
